My most vivid memory of Cray Valley was being kicked up the backside around 1969 by Mr (Martin) Carr, after failing to pick up a rugby ball that pinged out of the back of the scrum. This obviously did help me and spur me onto better things as I was rarely out of the school year team after that incident. Teachers would not get away with that today!!!

Who remembers the record breaking trip to the US? Not sure of the year – 1968? MFC’s record breaking trip – 100+ boys to America for two weeks! Never been done by so many schoolkids before. Well done MFC(rip).

Please can somebody advise how I might get hold of school photographs from 1966 to 1972.
